Esker Bounce Back Scheme

As the world slowly but surely begins to open up, the Esker Spirits team can’t wait to start working with our amazing customers again! Not to mention visiting some of our favourite pubs and restaurants again ... 

As most of Aberdeen City and Shire move to Level 2, we are delighted to launch the Esker Spirits ‘Bounce Back’ Scheme; a new support package for local on-trade businesses to help with their post-pandemic recovery by providing a range of discounts, benefits and support for local pubs, hotels, restaurants based in the City and Shire.

What’s it all about?

We will be offering price reductions and special deals on all our gin and vodkas, exclusively to local businesses! As well as supporting the local bars and restaurants when we can, this is our way of assisting the revival of the on-trade sector in and around Aberdeen.

Why?

From city centre cocktail venues and restaurants, to cosy countryside pubs and hotels, we feel so lucky to have such a loyal local customer base, many of whom have been with us since launching the first Esker gin back in 2016!

The past year hasn’t been easy on anyone especially for our good friends in the hospitality sector and as things start to open up again, we want to say thanks to all those wonderful local businesses who have supported Esker over the years.  

What’s On Offer?

Businesses will be offered a range of benefits and incentives which will include discounts across the Esker portfolio, exclusive offers and pour deals.

Staff benefits and rewards will also be an important part of the ‘Bounce Back’ campaign. We want to show our support for all the wonderful people who make the hospitality industry in Aberdeen what it is, by offering incentives like merchandise or discounts codes for purchasing stock for themselves or as gifts for their friends and families.

In the coming months, we also hope to start delivering our staff training sessions again, both in- house and out at our distillery in Deeside. These sessions are always brilliant for both us as a company and the hospitality trade themselves. We have really missed spending time with the local bar and restaurant teams and have particularly missed sampling all the wonderful Esker inspired cocktails and serves that they come up with, they really are a talented bunch!

We believe that the re-building of the on-trade sector post pandemic is not just about businesses focusing on their own individual revenue, but looking at the drinks sector as whole and how everyone can work together to achieve a successful recovery. 

Esker’s Lynne Duthie says: “We will be encouraging our stockists and on-trade customers to purchase our products through some of our smaller, locally based distributors who have also had a pretty tough time of it lately.  We really feel we have a responsibility to the industry as a whole and want to show our support at every level of the supply chain by working and rebuilding together.”

Onwards & Upwards.

It’s been a tough year for everyone, but it is starting to feel as though there is light at the end of the tunnel! We can’t wait to get back out and see our customer’s but most of all, we are looking forward to propping up those bars again and catching up with friends over a couple of G&T’s…. surely that’s one of the best ways to give back, right?
