Getting into the spirit of 2020

Is it too late for a happy New Year blog? After a crazy December, January crept in, hung around forever and just like that – it’s February!

We wanted to give you a little look-in to what January looked like for us as a team and some of the plans we have for 2020.

2019 in a 0.5 seconds read.

As a team, we are looking to build on our successes in 2019 – a ‘Best Young Business’ Award, two fabulous new gins in Silverglas Scottish Raspberry & Silverglas Valencian Orange, our beautiful new Esker bottle launch and the Esker Ice Cube Gift Pack launch… it was quite a year!

None of that happens by accident and because we are a small team, a lot of effort goes in behind the scenes to make it work. Over and above the process of actually making the gin in our distillery on the Royal Deeside.

January gave us the chance to plan and catch up our breath after the Christmas market season and it has been a month for:

  • Team meetings and workshops

  • Re-jigging (technical term…) the distillery tasting room

  • Recipe development

  • Client meetings and deliveries

  • Spending time in the distillery, creating beautiful gin

Innovation, product development and behind-the-scenes in 2020

What can you look forward to in 2020?  Innovation is a huge focus and developing tantalising new products is something that keeps us inspired. Not everything we make lands up on the production line, but the product development stage in the Esker distillery is a big part of our day job.

We want you to feel part of #teamEsker and will give you more of the inside track on what it’s like to be part of the Esker family and our jobs in the distillery.

We love meeting you and will join some incredible events throughout the year to do more
of this – and maybe a couple of our own in the plan too…

The best way to find out this information and spend time with #teamEsker is on our social media channels – Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and by using the #EskerSpirits hashtag.
